The book follows the successful title by A. Halouzka, HIGH SCHOOL MATH TESTS. While Halouzka's "tests" correspond to the basic level of the upcoming state final exams, the HIGH SCHOOL MATH TESTS for gymnasiums are designed to prepare students for a higher level of maturity. In line with the new approach to teaching, the introduction of each topic lists the competencies that the individual tasks are meant to verify. All tasks are presented in two comparable variants A and B, with partial solution steps and intermediate results indicated in the answers. Although the collection is primarily intended for gymnasium teachers to create assessments and tests, it is also very suitable as supplementary material for teaching mathematics at secondary schools and in selective seminars.
