Stavitelé chrámu poezie – Halberštát Jiří (2010)

It all started with the idea that there is too little poetry among people. Then came the idea from a group of individuals who were not at peace with this state. They said, 'Let's reach out to the people around us and create a book from poetic contributions.' And suddenly it began. Contributions came in from all over the country. Poems, collections. Well-known poets and emerging authors wrote. A group of 120 like-minded individuals was formed. 78 of them made it into the selection. They became the builders of the work. Together, they constructed a temple full of poetry, full of sincere expressions from contemporary people. All the authors (Klímová, Fousek, Černík, Duben, Nytrová, Havel, Kriglová…) and contributors (Šmoldas, Cimický - introduction, Ebr - geographical literary conclusion) were humorously and typically depicted in a 'cat-like' manner by Zora Jandová, who assembled the temple on the cover from 18 illustrations.
