Česky krok za krokem 2 – Holá Lída (2009)

The textbook Czech Step by Step 2 builds on the first part Czech Step by Step 1. It is designed for teaching students who want to reach level B1. It contains a total of 20 lessons. The first 10 lessons provide a review of the material covered in the first part, while the subsequent lessons expand on new phenomena and deepen the students' communication skills. The introductory texts focus on interesting topics from all areas of human activity, and the final part of each lesson, Czech for Every Day, brings closer the life in the Czech Republic. The abundance of thematically grounded texts and exercises provides a foundation for the development of language skills and vocabulary, with personalization of topics being an important component of the teaching. Emphasis is placed on practicing pronunciation and acquiring the language through collocations. The textbook contains rich photographic and illustrative material.
