Jak na VŠ-Bohemistika – Štochl Miroslav (2007)

At the university, it represents a new type of publication aimed at answering the main question in two ways. The book hopes to assist prospective students in clarifying their understanding of their chosen field and to serve as a guide in the fundamental prerequisite of university studies in Czech studies, i.e., getting into university. The second answer the book aims to provide is for already admitted students who are beginning to navigate their new field, including completing various seminars such as Introduction to the Study of the Czech Language or Literature, which unfortunately still lack a comprehensive guide to their subject. In addition to complete, clear information about all domestic Czech studies departments of philosophical or pedagogical type, their study programs, admission procedures, and other study opportunities, the reader will also find a well-written discussion on basic field sources, terminology, and the organization of university studies, including practical advice on working with literature and writing their own papers. Thus, the publication should become an indispensable guide when entering a field that is the traditional backbone of our faculties.
