Description
In the holy territory, the volcanic peaks of the Czech Central Highlands intervene in the Louny region, with the dominant Házmburk, while the hilly Džbán fills the south. Cyclists can enjoy the plains along the Ohře River, and just like hikers, they will discover many charming and interesting places here. Among the historical towns, Louny, Postoloprty, Libochovice, Budyně nad Ohří, and Terezín stand out. Botanists will find their joy, as rare steppe plants bloom on the sunny slopes of the Raná, Milá, and others; remnants of floodplain forests with a rich herbaceous undergrowth of anemones, dragonflies, snowdrops, and others have survived in the Ohře floodplain, while the Džbán area is a transitional zone between thermophilic and forest flora. The boundaries of the described area are: Most - Bečov - Třebívlice - Třebenice - Lovosice - left bank of the Elbe up to Roudnice nad Labem - Mšené-lázně - Peruc - Líský - Mšec - Řevničov - Krupá - Tuchořice - Havraň - Most.
