Description
The presented textbook, intended for the 3rd year of secondary vocational schools in construction, is prepared in accordance with the framework educational program no. 36-47-M/001 Construction, focusing on water management structures, and the curriculum and syllabi of the subject Health Water Management Structures. The textbook covers only the area of transportation and distribution of water within public water supply systems and the disposal of wastewater within public sewer systems from the entire spectrum of health water management structures. In the calculation sections of the thematic units, knowledge acquired in the subjects of hydrology and hydraulics is applied. In other sections, knowledge gained in the subjects: geology and foundation of structures, building materials, building constructions, and building mechanics.
