Description
The hero of this book undoubtedly existed. His name was Jan Welzl, and when I was a little boy, I admired reading about his polar adventures and dreamed of similar expeditions. Through my drawings, I wanted to express my lasting admiration for the brave compatriot whom we called nothing else but Eskymo. He will forever remain real and sincere to me in his desire for a free, authentic life, his courage, sense of justice, and love for the harsh nature. ***** This exceptionally visual book is being published again in Czech thirty years after its creation.
