Description
Upon opening the red box, Petr Sís finds a diary that his father kept when he was lost in Tibet in the mid-1950s. He turns the fragile pages filled with faded writing, complemented by beautiful drawings, explores the small treasures hidden in the diary, and inadvertently embarks on a journey to a distant land. Piece by piece, he uncovers the secrets of his father's more than two-year journey, including a meeting with the then eighteen-year-old Dalai Lama. At the same time, he remembers the little boy who longed for his father's return and recalls the fantastic stories his father told him upon his return - stories that sounded more like a fairy tale than real life.
