The book, as the first of its kind, summarizes all known and newly discovered insights about the history and present of publicly accessible bronze statues, monuments, and selected memorial plaques in Prague. Primarily focusing on works located within the Prague Heritage Reserve and partly in its surroundings. For each piece, it states who modeled it and when, who cast it in bronze, if this could be determined, who dealt with its architecture, when the work was unveiled and handed over to the public, etc. In this regard, it corrects some errors in the existing literature and supplements missing facts.
