Testy obecných studijních předpokladů a základy logiky 2. díl – group of authors (2017)

The publication is already in its 9th revised and updated edition and responds to new trends in admission procedures in Czech higher education, where general study prerequisites are being massively tested in entrance exams, primarily based on logical tests and SCIO tests. The OSP test is part of the entrance exams for Charles University in Prague, the University of Ostrava, Palacký University in Olomouc, and other universities. In this publication, the authors also currently describe the current trends in admission procedures at Masaryk University in Brno, where successful completion of the 'Test of Study Prerequisites' is a criterion for admission. The aim of the entrance tests is to assess knowledge in the following areas: verbal and critical thinking, numerical and quantitative thinking, spatial and symbolic thinking, analytical thinking and reasoning, as well as the basics of scientific, critical thinking and cultural awareness. The mentioned topics are also the dominant content of this publication. In addition to explaining theoretical problem-solving procedures, the book also includes many practical tips, but primarily a large number of test examples.
