Description
The second coursebook in the series follows directly on from the first and corresponds to the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The complete course adopts a personal approach to students, with materials and teaching methods adapted to the needs of middle-school-age learners. Particular emphasis is placed on motivation, while the division of the material into core, supplementary and extension content respects the different target groups. Students’ knowledge of Russian culture gradually expands, and they have more opportunities for independent learning and self-assessment. Consistent attention is paid to the sound system of the language. The workbook is the main tool for practising, consolidating and revising the language material, as well as checking progress, and the clear instructions allow students to work independently.
