This anthology of fantastic short stories includes both fantasy and SF texts. For fantasy readers, there is primarily 'A Courtesy Visit' by Martin D. Antonín, which loosely follows his novel 'The Crooked Blade' in the scope of a novella. We meet Rhan, squire Jenik, and knight Lisbet again - a rollercoaster of action awaits us, spiced with a dose of dark humor. For SF lovers, the collection opens with a story by Robert Fabian. This loosely connects to the book 'Star' - not through the main character, but through the setting, the world, and some references. Among the more well-known creators, we should mention Jiří Pavlovský, whose 'Escort' belongs to political fiction. JP tackles this genre in his own way - with action and bloodshed. The plot takes place in our country. Additionally, we find lesser-known authors - Lívia Hlavačková, Jakub D. Kočí, Edita Dufková, Marie Klepetková, Stáňa Kučová, Jana Kopečková, Alexander Kazda, and Klára Skokanová. Their texts are usually sharply pointed and vividly complement the previous trio: from classic fantasy to historical and humorous, all the way to hard SF. Taste what Czech fantasy is living today!
