Description
Originally, Lenny Grimwood thought that it wouldn't hurt to make a deal with demons for his private war, hoping that with their help, losing would be impossible. The contract was very simple – in case of victory, life; in case of defeat, death... The city of Baltimore thus becomes a witness to Lenny's fight for survival, often accompanied by the confused support of his demonic friends, who, as it soon became clear, are not powerful, but merely eternal. And as if that weren't enough, a female element enters the game, which can disrupt not only Lenny's world but also the world of demons. The main character finds himself caught in a whirlwind of numerous blunders, surprising twists, treacherous traps, shootouts, crazy actions, and car chases. And all of this is directed towards a gripping and highly explosive conclusion... The author remains true to the action style of the American hard-boiled school, where sharp dialogues are often faster than the gunfire from the automatic weapons used by Lenny's opponents.
