Cvičebnice ruské gramatiky – Mistrová Veronika (2013)

A Russian exercise book for all types of schools and self-learners. Twelve thousand examples with solutions on the opposite side. The Russian grammar exercise book is intended for students and teachers in schools and language courses. The key to all exercises and recordings (6 audio cassettes - not included in the exercise book) allow for practice and thorough expansion of knowledge for self-learners as well. The material is divided into four levels according to the difficulty of grammatical phenomena and the extent of vocabulary. A detailed list of grammatical topics is provided at the beginning of each chapter and in a summary table before the introduction. A special chapter includes words that sound similar in both languages but differ in meaning, known as 'false friends' (e.g., thief, cake, fool, none, to spend). Part of the textbook is recorded on cassettes by native speakers. It mainly consists of simpler 'drill' exercises that students should master without textual support. In addition, some continuous texts (especially anecdotes) and sentences with more complex accentual and intonational phenomena (longer sentences with compound numerals, sentences with participial constructions, etc.) are recorded, which require support from the printed version of the exercises. The exercise book is based on the norms of contemporary standard Russian, which includes commonly spoken language.
