Description
The second part of the five-part textbook for secondary and language schools maintains the structure and principles of the first part. In the context of reviewing selected grammatical phenomena from the first part, we provide, where possible, graphically distinct supplementary information. In the second part, we have also expanded the range of exercises for working with the introductory text, and for selected topics, we include project tasks, songs, and rhymes. Another novelty is the red blocks at the end of the introductory double page of each lesson, which contain selected conversational phrases related to the presented topic or the form of the introductory text. Their aim is not only to teach students useful phrases related to the topic but also to show what they can already express based on their knowledge. The grammatical section primarily covers the present perfect tense and the subjunctive mood. The book is based on the rules of British English. The textbook has been approved by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic for inclusion in the list of textbooks for secondary schools as part of a comprehensive series of textbooks for the subject of English language.
