This publication discusses the special conditions of energy renovation of buildings. The authors address various types of buildings and offer recommendations for the design and implementation of remediation interventions. In the construction and technical section, recommended materials and proven structures for thermal insulation and solutions for the renewal of building services are presented. A series of tables compare the parameters and user characteristics of buildings and their equipment before and after remediation. In conclusion, twelve renovated buildings are presented, demonstrating in detail how older homes can be adapted to today's requirements and housing needs at minimal energy costs.
