Description
The first, predominantly theoretical part of the anthology Selected Chapters on the Topic of Care for Architectural Heritage is followed by a practically oriented volume that addresses heritage care from a chemical-technological perspective. It is dedicated to three groups of the most commonly used materials – silicate materials, wood, and metals, their characteristics, uses, forms of threat, and possibilities and methods of restoration. The second part of the anthology was also prepared by a team of renowned experts and educators (I. Maxová, M. Pacáková, P. Novák, J. Děd, D. Vojtěch, I. Kučerová).
