Description
The dictionary contains around 28,000 English terms (and their corresponding 45,000 Czech equivalents) covering the entire field of civil aviation (aviation technology, operations, transport, sports, meteorology) and basic terms from military aviation, including standardized ICAO abbreviations and other commonly used abbreviations, acronyms, codes, and symbols. It includes terminology used in British and American English, as well as colloquial expressions, professional slang terms, and historical or previously used expressions. The dictionary also provides an overview of SI unit prefixes, the radiotelephone spelling alphabet, and aircraft classification.
