Description
The textbook introduces students to the issues of furniture production. The first part focuses on the technology of wood gluing, veneering surfaces, and edge treatments, including special methods of finishing (applying foils and laminates, shaping edge treatments). The second part addresses the shaping of wood and wood materials through bending, shaping with simultaneous gluing, and shape pressing. The third part deals with the machining of wood and wooden materials. Subsequent sections elaborate on the technology of product surface finishing and product assembly as the final phase of the production process.
