This full-color, graphically friendly publication presents children with a variety of tasks on 60 pages, through which they gently acquire knowledge about natural numbers, practice digits, and basic geometric concepts. By the end of the first volume, children are already introduced to simple word problems that correspond to their understanding of the world. The three-part mathematics textbook is suitably complemented by additional materials, such as above-standard motivational tasks in Interesting Mathematics for First Graders, a folding wooden abacus, or a set of cards with pictures, clocks, a money model, etc. A workbook (digits) and a methodological guide are also available.
