Description
Mathematics for the 4th grade is the first textbook for the second educational period of the first stage of primary school according to the RVP. The textbook meets the basic requirement of the RVP that the material for children should not be an abstract model but should allow for direct practical application. Only this enables children to understand the basic mathematical relationships in the world around us and to develop and meaningfully and purposefully use them in everyday life. The textbook guides students through a thoughtfully composed set of practical tasks – they are functionally connected to the explanations, which often complement them, allowing children to understand many concepts on their own even before they learn them from the explanations. Additionally, it is very graphically friendly in this regard – clarity and illustrative visuals help students understand many concepts and simultaneously offer them fresh tasks to solve.
