Description
This publication is the first part of a long-term project by the Museum of the Capital City of Prague about Prague's districts. Through period photographs, postcards, prints, and other materials, it captures the history of this former Prague suburb, showing its now-defunct places, such as the ghetto or Bulovka before the hospital was built. The reader will also learn about the now-defunct factories or inns, the provisional wooden bridge to Libeň, the Barikádníků bridge before it became part of the main road, and much more interesting information about the life and development of this place.
