Description
Alexander Blix is a broken man. He has been sentenced for killing his daughter's murderer and placed in a maximum-security prison. The former police investigator is not having an easy time behind his walls. Meanwhile, his colleagues are searching for Walter Kroos, a German prisoner on the run who has apparently ended up in Norway. Coincidentally, Blix's former cellmate once met him in the past. However, he is not the only person Blix knows in the country. Journalist Emma Ramm is trying to help Blix, even by finding out why Kroos specifically chose Norway. The clues lead to a small village north of the capital, where everyone has their secrets and no one is very talkative, especially not about those that have left deep scars on them. The detective novel Scars is the fourth part of the series of criminal cases of Inspector Alexander Blix and journalist Emma Ramm, which has received great acclaim; the previous parts were published in Slovak under the titles Zero Point, Smoke Screen, and Don't Die Young.
