The third volume of the series 'Journeys Beyond Horizons' and the second part of the trilogy 'Journey to the End of the World and Back' presents a literary-political travelogue about contemporary real Russia. This time, it focuses on the author's travels in Western Siberia. This volume contains both facts and realities about the local nature and the everyday lives of the indigenous people, as well as the author's personal experiences and impressions, along with informed commentary and references to historical, cultural, and political contexts. It is also richly illustrated. In addition to 160 pages of black-and-white illustrations, it includes 128 pages of color (650 unique color photographs, infographics, and orientation maps).
