Description
Julka, the main character of the story, moves to a remote place with her daughter after her divorce, into a house she inherited from her beloved grandfather. She is determined to live differently, to start anew. She transforms the house into a small guesthouse, offering guests rest in an oasis of silence, home-cooked meals, and opportunities for horseback riding. However, even the distant solitude is not free from emotional upheaval, suffering, and problems... The story is spiced up not only with various situations involving the guests but also depicts Julka's relationship with her daughter, a veterinary student, and her friends.
