This story is not about my dad, and yet it is a bit. But above all, it is the story of all daughters who tragically lost their fathers and could not cope with it, reconcile, or accept the death of a loved one. It is sad because I wrote it – after a long pause – as the first one after dad left us forever. I poured my grief, sadness, and pain into it. At the same time, however, it is a story full of twists, surprises... and love. I cry. I don't even know exactly why. Whether it's because of what he said about dad, about me, or because of a memory that flashed in my mind. So clearly that I can almost hear dad's voice. You are like the sun. When you are happy or excited about something, you brighten every corner. It's a joy to look at you. You are like the sun, it echoes in my head again and again... and I... cry. I thought no one would ever say that to me again. You are like the sun... and now Lukáš has said it. It is so powerful that it takes my breath away. Crying has become a part of my days, and I am starting to lose hope that it will ever change. I don't want dad to be forgotten, I don't want to... on the other hand, whenever we talk about him, I cry. Because we talk about him in the past tense. That finality terrifies me. But sometimes we slip into the present tense, as if he were here. And that is even worse. Because it feels like...
