The time has come for Klara to put her four-year-old daughter in kindergarten and return to work. Although she had imagined it differently and wanted to stay at home with the children as long as possible, it is not feasible. Her husband Milan lost his lucrative job, and in his new position, he does not earn enough to cover the necessary expenses for their family of four. After a successful interview, she starts working as an assistant in a private company, but from the very beginning, she faces numerous problems. First, with the director, who forgets to pay salaries and acts as if it is a given, then with her new boss, an aging and bitter woman who bullies her employees and often creates an unbearable atmosphere at work while drunk. Klara works from morning till night, returning home exhausted and unable to keep up with household chores like before. Milan not only does not help her but also criticizes her for it. The tension between the couple grows, with arguments and misunderstandings becoming a daily occurrence. Klara is devastated, under constant psychological pressure both at home and at work, finding joy in nothing, perhaps only in the warm embrace of her two beautiful children. However, she has no idea that all these events are just a prelude to real pain and sorrow. Fate has prepared for her much greater suffering that she will have to cope with, and her heart...
