Description
Krishnamurti was an Indian philosopher and a significant spiritual teacher of the 20th century. He is often associated with the Theosophical Society, although he later separated from it because he did not want to belong to any cult, organization, or religious movement. His creed in the search for truth was freedom and the belief that truth cannot be organized. Krishnamurti's philosophy resembles European existentialism but also draws from the spirit of Eastern religious traditions (Upanishads and Buddhism). This publication contains Krishnamurti's lectures from 1979-1980, which took place in England, the USA, and Switzerland. The topics considered here include: self, security, emotions, words, insight, education, pain, truth, violence, hope, creativity, action, fear, reincarnation, death, dissatisfaction, enlightenment, sex, consciousness, responsibility, symbols, faith, freedom...
