Magie slovanských bohů a symbolů (2018)

This publication consists of images intended for coloring and accompanying text. The text explains what the various depicted figures – deities, magical beings, and animals – and symbols represent. It also provides advice on how to color these images and what to think about in order for this pleasant and simultaneously magical or spiritual activity to fulfill its purpose. Each image has a different meaning and effect. The ancient Slavs worshipped mystical beings that, according to their beliefs, protected and helped them. These included not only various gods but also animals and plants, sometimes even stones and rock formations of unusual shapes or water sources, etc. Our ancestors did not divide nature into living and non-living. Everything that surrounded them was alive. Therefore, in those times, people worshipped natural forces. They adored the Sun, the Moon, and natural phenomena. They attributed a divine origin to everything and believed that natural forces depended on the will of the gods. To gain their favor, they tried in every possible way to appease them. Thus, at certain times of the year, they performed special sacred rituals, made sacrifices, and prayed to the gods for help and thanked them for their successes.
