Richard Krauz and Jozef Fischer, known as Chosé, have been working in the homicide department in Our City for a very long time. For over twenty-five years, they have been trying to come to terms with the fact that the concepts of law, justice, and fairness do not always equate, but rather pose a question mark. Sometimes even an exclamation point. Despite all the obstacles, they occasionally manage to solve the mystery of a murdered and raped student or a shot businessman or an abused boy, and they ultimately track down and arrest the killer.
