Description
Jonas Crow, the toughest gravedigger in the West, who handles pistols as skilfully as he does a shovel, returns in the stories “Mister Prairie” and “The World According to Sister Oz.” A letter signed “R. Prairie” leads him to the town of Eaden, though the writer is not his beloved Rose, as he had hoped. Jonas’s profession becomes unexpectedly difficult when one of his “clients” is an unborn child. Eaden is also visited by the famous Sister Oz, a fanatic representing the League for the Suppression of Vice and campaigning against abortions.
