This Czech-language literature textbook focuses primarily on reading literacy, creativity and connections between literary works and pupils’ lives. Its tasks develop the ability to interpret, connect information and work with sources, while also including exercises in composition, grammar and the intertextual nature of literature, reflected in the selection of texts reaching into contemporary literary production. The textbook provides rich historical and artistic context extending into other subjects.
