This interactive Czech-language encyclopedia for children combines reading with the creation of a large 3D model of the seabed. It explores the secrets of oceans and seas, from their formation to the fascinating animals that live there, with colourful illustrations and a range of interesting facts. The set includes a fact-filled book and pre-cut pieces for assembling a 3D sea-floor diorama without glue or scissors, by simply slotting the pieces together according to the instructions. The finished model can be displayed as a miniature underwater-world exhibition. Building the diorama develops fine motor skills, spatial awareness, systematic thinking, hand-eye coordination and concentration. The book also contains simple activities, such as identifying marine animals and understanding their environmental roles, along with a short quiz to help children organise and remember what they have learned.
