Description
Tecu's reaction to the laser beam from the SOL satellite is dramatic. The sight of the devastating laser that previously cost him his arm triggers a traumatic response, awakening his psychic powers to their maximum. He can now concentrate the power of light and summon back buildings destroyed during the explosion. At the same time, he experiences a trance in which he recalls painful childhood events that he had suppressed until now. He then fully surrenders to Akira, as he is now aware of his immense destructive potential. Along with the building, Kaneda also re-materializes and reunites with Kei. Together with his former enemy Joker, they decide to stop Tecu. It is the year 2020, and the atmosphere in Neo-Tokyo is thickening – Colonel, Mijako, Kaneda, and the American forces are preparing to confront Akira and Tecu.
