This book, whose contents are in Czech, presents dinosaur records and remarkable facts about these exceptional prehistoric animals. Dinosaurs included the longest, tallest and heaviest land creatures ever to appear, but size was only one of their fascinating qualities. The book examines record-holding necks, tails, torsos, limbs, heads, horns, teeth and claws, as well as the oldest, youngest, fastest, most heavily armoured, most widespread and most bizarre species. It asks how large the biggest dinosaur was compared with a bus, how much larger the biggest dinosaur egg was than a chicken egg, how fast dinosaur “sprinters” could run, how long dinosaurs lived and which dinosaurs could gain up to 55 kilograms in a single day.
