Description
A book of forty stories about tramps and canoeists, whose protagonists are well-known members of the Daisy tramp settlement. A large part of the stories will take you to the delightful region around the Sobotnice stream and the Radostínský brook, where the settlement has its home. Readers may have encountered the main characters Hároš, Sheriff Česnek, Gábina, narrator Rook, and other friends in the author's previous six detective novels as well as in the novella Strange Valley. The stories are mostly cheerful, but there are also some that provoke thought; some tales are believable, while others are written with a considerable degree of exaggeration. Some are based on real experiences, while others stem from the author's imagination. Please take them as they are.
