It feels like just yesterday when I arrived in Corfu determined to live my life there by Jannis's side. It was early January, and during our first walks, I saw older Corfiots sitting in front of their houses basking in the midday sun. Now we are experiencing the second lockdown in Greece, and I have seen my husband for the first time sitting on the balcony enjoying the March sun. How quickly those forty years have flown by since we met. I recall the first decade of our life together in my book Getting Used to Corfu, and now I present another ten years, which are less about healthcare and financial issues, but more about local education and traveling around Greece. It was pleasant for me to immerse myself in memories of my ordinary yet extraordinary life during this difficult coronavirus situation.
