Description
An elaborate illustrated publication that presents the face of the city of Beroun to the reader through an attractive overview of its history and present, as it has been showcased over the past five years in outdoor exhibitions of the local gallery under the open sky. The outdoor gallery "Pedestrian Zone" on Palackého Street in Beroun was established in 2018, and since then, many interesting themes from Beroun's history, present, as well as artistic and local history topics have been featured on large exhibition panels. Surprisingly, more people stopped here than could have been expected at the beginning. We believe that the book form of the first series of these outdoor exhibitions will bring joy not only to those who did not have the opportunity to see the exhibitions in person but also to those who wish to revisit them. The extensive preface to the book is written by historian PhDr. Anna Matoušková.
