The ninth volume of the Conan series, full of adventure and refined military actions, is spiced up by the very first episode illustrated by Joe Kubert, along with chapter adaptations by Michael Linsner and Cary Nord, and last but not least, a unique collaboration between writer Timothy Truman and artist Tomás Giorello. In the short time Conan has spent as a mercenary, he has completely won over both the military leader Lord Amalrik and the princess Jasmeela herself.
