This book was originally published anonymously under the title Adventures Among the Rosicrucians in 1887. Its author was unknown, as he only signed as "Student of Occultism," but the copyright was registered in the name of Franz Hartmann. Helena Blavatsky reviewed the book and described it in her text with these words: "It is a remarkable and very original story that has a charming and fantastic atmosphere, is full of poetic feeling and, most importantly, deep philosophical and occult truths. Which is essential for those who can perceive these truths, a foundation upon which to build."
