Description
The book Kláda contains eleven short prose pieces that deal with romantic relationships. The individual protagonists are men and women who have found themselves in a crisis situation, most often due to a poor decision. Each story is accompanied by a photograph by Jindřich Štreit. Both authors aimed to connect the emotional state of the character in the photograph with the characters in the story when selecting the images. Just as the people in Štreit's photographs live their life story, so does real life unfold in the characters from the stories.
