Reprint of the original edition from 1907 by the publishing house Dědictví sv. Jana Nepomuckého. 'When in 1883 and 1884 the commendable work of František Ekert, "Sacred Places of the Kingdom of the Capital City of Prague," was published by "Dědictví sv. Jana Nepomuckého," there was often a desire expressed for a similarly processed work on sacred places in Bohemia as a continuation. Only now does "Dědictví" proceed to fulfill this wish. The present volume is the beginning of an extensive work, the importance and necessity of which certainly need not be mentioned. It will be a church topography, such as many countries have long had, while Bohemia has yet to lack it.' — From the author's preface
