Description
This publication traces the development of Czechoslovak light bombers up to the arrival of the Aero A-100 and the development and creation of the Aero Ab-101. It describes the trials of the Aero Ab-101 at the Military Technical and Aviation Institute, including test records and results, followed by an extensive chapter on introducing the aircraft into the armament of the Czechoslovak Air Force. The first part of the monograph concludes with a description of the Special Combat Aviation Exercise of the Air Brigade in 1938, focusing on the use of Aero Ab-101 aircraft. It also contains a brief history of Aero’s “hundred series” of aircraft, a large number of photographs and documents, and several colour side profiles. The publication is in Czech.
