Description
The German aircraft designer Ernst Heinkel (January 24, 1888 – January 30, 1958) became one of the symbols of the German Luftwaffe. The author, German historian Dr. Volker Koos, has been collecting photographs, studying historical documents, and capturing the memories of Heinkel's collaborators for decades. His work documents Ernst Heinkel's design activities from World War I until 1958. The second volume captures the activities of his company chronologically in photographs from the 1930s, through World War II, to post-war West Germany, and documents all types produced by the company during this period.
