Description
A book about the myths of the Native Americans of North America and Siberia, their similarities and connections, as well as possible genetic links. A random selection of a Mansi myth, which exhibited certain similarities with the myths of other nations, led me to the trail of ancient kinship. A line that connects old and contemporary populations from very distant places, located on different continents, through which we can trace not only the traces of our myth but also the traces of familial ties. The similarity of ancient narratives is therefore not coincidental, but expresses an ancient kinship connection that, in our case, relates to such different and geographically distant ethnic groups as some groups of indigenous people from Siberia, other areas of Asia, as well as America, Europe, and even Africa. The idea that they could share not only stories, genes, but also other cultural elements seems hard to believe.
