Description
Someone brutally murders a beloved priest. No traces are left behind. And this is the third case for the duo of investigators Anna Steinbach and Pavel Wagner. Set against the backdrop of winter towns, approaching Christmas, and gray December weather, the story unfolds a complex web of crime. Other people are attacked in the same brutal manner, using a wire loop. They have an unexpected connection to an older couple, the best friends of our investigators. No one would expect that the clues lead directly to them and to a secret they have hidden from the world for decades. In contrast to the harsh world of crime and dark past is the fragile platonic relationship between Anna and the priest Pavel, which is at times humorous and full of longing. In a wild snowstorm at a cabin, cut off from the world, our heroes experience a final battle with the past.
