Description
Adam and Sara, long-time partners, find a strange creature during their night return home and decide to take it to their grandmother's cottage and call a veterinarian the next day. The cottage is located in Stepi, a part of the city that is gradually turning into a wasteland with the last brave and quirky inhabitants.
They name it Flora – it doesn't look like anything familiar or alive, yet Sara gradually forms a bond with it. The couple decides to stay in Stepi and take care of Flora despite everything and everyone.
Flora is the prose debut of poet Jonáš Zbořil. A tender yet terrifying novella with dystopian elements about parenthood also tells of a new nature that is forming under our hands.
