Description
This Czech-language book presents the history of the Jára Cimrman Theatre, whose founding meeting took place on 29 October 1966 in the offices of the Czechoslovak Radio Army Editorial Department. Jiří Šebánek invited Miloň Čepelka, Ladislav Smoljak and Zdeněk Svěrák to the meeting. An original theatre scene was established in Prague, and its hoax-based humour has reached several generations and continues to attract audiences after more than forty years of existence.
