Description
Punctualists are people who like everything tidy, clear, in short, to the point. And that was exactly how architect Evžen was. At home, he had an order that was rarely seen anywhere, all things arranged from smallest to largest and from blackest to whitest. One day, however, something very strange happened, and Evžen realized that a beautiful house is not made just by the ruler. It was all caused by the wind. Its strong gust bent a tree into the third floor of the building under construction, right where the room was supposed to be. But to everyone's surprise, Evžen did not allow the tree to be cut down. He found it absolutely perfect, and so he let it grow through the house. And he began to notice nature and people. The book by the French illustrator and architect recalls the legendary work of Miroslav Šašek or avant-garde aesthetics with its artistic poetics. It teaches children to pay attention to great buildings, to have compassion for the smallest creatures, to trust in imagination, and to have the courage to go against the taste of the majority.
