Description

Three guys who live life to the fullest and drink beer in one go, even though they are only sixteen. The world is a stage for them, one that they need to burst onto and steal the show for themselves. When they feel cramped in their little pond in Prague, they decide to head to the sea. All it takes is to take their parents' car, fiddle with all the levers at the steering wheel, and gently pick up a cop on the hood for a free ride to where he didn't want to go. The fun is mainly provided by Honza Břečka, who knows how to put on the expression of a well-behaved boy, only to subsequently pit the entire village party against him, the deaf-mute Víťa, who you have to flash because he can't hear the bell and is perpetually busy with self-pleasure, and also the stepfather Bedřich, who drinks in the dark so he doesn't see how much booze is left at the bottom. Drunken bananas resemble a ride in a stolen Populár, which has no brakes. For a while, laughter rings out here, but there's also a tense fear of where this dream of a journey from communist Czechoslovakia to the sea will end.
